Bathroom RemodelWalnut Dual Vanity & Mosaic Feature Wall

This Thousand Oaks walnut bathroom blends California ocean style with natural warmth. RnD Builders Inc installed textured natural stone tile, a feature wall with hand-laid mosaic glass accents and a fully custom dual vanity in a walnut finish with a marble top. The result is a warm, modern and highly personalized bathroom that feels like a daily escape.

A bamboo-inspired sliding door and ambient lighting bring spa-like comfort to the space. In the walk-in shower, a glass block wall with blue LED top lighting sits beside pebble mosaic tile accents, a built-in bench and a recessed niche. Meanwhile, sleek matte black plumbing fixtures add contrast and edge. At the entry, an arched doorway and a wood-plank ceiling frame the vanity, and a decorative stone door surround adds a final custom detail.

Our design-build process

Like every RnD Builders project, this bathroom remodel project followed our four-step design-build process. First, we learn your goals, style, budget and timeline. Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track. Finally, we walk through the finished space with you and review every detail.

RnD Builders Inc is a family-owned design-build contractor based in Woodland Hills and serving homeowners across Los Angeles and Ventura County. Our work has earned Best of Houzz awards from 2022 through 2026. Every home is different, so we start by listening. We then build a plan around your goals, your budget and the way your family lives, and we keep the schedule clear from day one.
