This Manhattan Beach home remodel and addition turned the property into a clean, modern coastal home. RnD Builders Inc renovated both the interior and the exterior, with new black aluminum windows, oversized sliding doors, smooth stucco and hardwood flooring. We also upgraded the electrical, plumbing, HVAC and roofing, so the home works as well as it looks.

Inside, the open-concept layout centers on a custom white oak kitchen with a waterfall island, integrated lighting and designer hardware. Arched openings and custom interior doors add warmth and character. In addition, each bathroom has its own look, from blue plaster walls to green handmade-style tile, with skylights, floating vanities and brass fixtures. Outside, the new front and back yards include modern fencing, smooth concrete, a built-in fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, exterior lighting and an outdoor shower.

Our design-build process

Like every RnD Builders project, this remodel and addition project followed our four-step design-build process. First, we learn your goals, style, budget and timeline. Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track. Finally, we walk through the finished space with you and review every detail.
