Home Remodel

This Simi Valley home remodel turned a space into a stunning sanctuary in just three months. RnD Builders Inc carried a sleek black and white color scheme through the whole house. From the kitchen and two bathrooms to the laundry room, fireplace, wainscoting, flooring, doors, cabinetry and interior paint, every detail supports a cohesive look.

Highlights include black and white penny tile bathrooms, green vertical and black chevron tile combinations, and floating vanities. The kitchen has matte black shaker cabinets, a white quartz island, a farmhouse sink and seeded glass pendants. In the living room, a vaulted ceiling, a black accent wall and dark hardwood floors set a dramatic tone. Moreover, double black sliding barn doors and a laundry room with black shaker cabinets carry the theme further.

Our design-build process

Like every RnD Builders project, this home remodel project followed our four-step design-build process. First, we learn your goals, style, budget and timeline. Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track. Finally, we walk through the finished space with you and review every detail.

RnD Builders Inc is a family-owned design-build contractor based in Woodland Hills and serving homeowners across Los Angeles and Ventura County. Our work has earned Best of Houzz awards from 2022 through 2026. Every home is different, so we start by listening. We then build a plan around your goals, your budget and the way your family lives, and we keep the schedule clear from day one.
