Project overview

This Thousand Oaks kitchen remodel turned a U-shaped kitchen into a cleaner, brighter space. RnD Builders Inc completed the project in 4 to 5 weeks. To open up the room, our crew removed the soffit and extended a wall, which reshaped the layout and gave the new cabinets and appliances a clear place to sit.

The cabinetry pairs gray shaker base cabinets and drawers with white upper cabinets, finished with matte black bar pulls. A white countertop with soft gray veining wraps the U-shaped layout and the peninsula, and a glazed teal tile backsplash adds color behind the stainless range. In addition, tall white pantry cabinets sit beside a black stainless refrigerator for everyday storage.

A garden window over the stainless sink brings in daylight and leaves room for plants. Warm toe-kick lighting glows under the base cabinets, and hardwood floors tie the room together. As a result, the finished kitchen feels bright and welcoming for cooking and for gathering.
