Kitchen RemodelsMatte Green Cabinets & Champagne Island

This Thousand Oaks green kitchen started with a complete demolition and a fresh plan. RnD Builders Inc upgraded the plumbing and electrical, and then installed new floors, drywall and paint. The result is a perfect blend of style and function.

Sleek flat matte green modern cabinets pair with a champagne-colored island, and white quartz countertops top everything. Black handles, stainless steel appliances and a free-standing hood complete the look. A huge bar area with open shelves adds entertaining space, while a full subway tile backsplash keeps the walls clean and bright. Also, glass upper cabinets and a built-in microwave add function without clutter. Overall, the open-concept layout connects the kitchen to the dining area.

Our design-build process

Like every RnD Builders project, this kitchen remodel project followed our four-step design-build process. First, we learn your goals, style, budget and timeline. Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track. Finally, we walk through the finished space with you and review every detail.

RnD Builders Inc is a family-owned design-build contractor based in Woodland Hills and serving homeowners across Los Angeles and Ventura County. Our work has earned Best of Houzz awards from 2022 through 2026. Every home is different, so we start by listening. We then build a plan around your goals, your budget and the way your family lives, and we keep the schedule clear from day one.
