Thank you Roi & Danielle
Family-owned, licensed team for bathroom remodeling, handling plans, permits and construction from start to finish.

Bathrooms are a core part of your daily routine. They are a place to freshen up before a big event or unwind before bedtime. Starting a bathroom remodeling project can be the beginning of a new feel for your home. RnD Builders has finished over 400 bathroom remodels across West Hills, Woodland Hills, Thousand Oaks, and all across the Greater Ventura County area. With this much experience under our belts, we know how to create a stunning space delivered on time and in line with the budget agreed in your contract. So whatever your vision for your future bathroom is, whether it's a luxurious spa getaway or a functional space for all, you can trust that RnD Builders will turn your vision into reality.

We begin by listening to how you use your bathroom and how you want it to feel, whether that is a spa-style retreat or a clean, practical space for the whole family. Our design team then builds a 3D model of your bathroom so you can see the layout and request changes before construction starts.
Next, your designer fine-tunes the layout: tub and shower options, vanity configuration, storage, lighting and ventilation. We make sure the plan works for your plumbing and your daily routine before any finishes are chosen.
Then you finalize the details with our design expert: shower and floor tile, countertop, vanity wood and finish, fixtures and hardware. These choices shape both the look and the final price of your bathroom remodel, so we review them together.
With the plan approved, we build. A dedicated project manager is your single point of contact from the first day to completion, answering questions and handling permits and building code requirements. We guarantee your bathroom will be finished in 3 weeks.
From the first layout to the finished bathroom, one team plans and builds every part of your remodel.

Tub and shower options and layouts planned with your designer, from walk-in showers to freestanding tubs.

Most of our remodel projects generally take 21 days or 3 weeks to finish. Once the design is finalized, we can give a personalized estimate for the project’s completion. This estimate will include variables that might affect the project’s completion date, such as the availability of local contractors, local materials, and local building codes, all of which your project manager will communicate to you.
RnD Builders offers transparent pricing that gives our customers quality results, and bathroom remodels generally run $25,000 to $85,000. This price can also vary depending on the scope and complexity of the project, and primary suites, larger bathrooms and premium finishes can run higher. Other factors affecting the final price are the type of materials, fixtures, and finishes used and adding spa-like features such as heated floors or rain showers. Despite all this, we want to ensure our clients get the best possible price while maintaining the highest-quality materials and craftsmanship possible.

Spa-Style with Freestanding Soaking Tub
This Thousand Oaks bathroom remodel was designed to create a bright, open, and relaxing space with a modern, spa-inspired feel. The layout was fully reimagined to maximize functionality while keeping a clean and minimal aesthetic throughout. Also, the space features a custom double vanity with warm wood cabinetry, paired with sleek black hardware and fixtures for a sharp contrast. The quartz countertops bring in a clean, elegant look while offering durability for everyday use. Large framed mirrors with integrated lighting enhance both functionality and overall design.
The shower was built with full-height textured tile, creating depth and visual interest, along with a custom floating bench and recessed niche for a seamless, built-in look. Matte black plumbing fixtures add a modern touch and tie the entire design together. A freestanding soaking tub was positioned near large windows to bring in natural light and create a true spa-like experience. The flooring was completed with neutral-toned tile in a herringbone pattern, adding subtle detail without overwhelming the space.
Every element of this remodel was carefully selected to balance warmth, simplicity, and modern design—resulting in a bathroom that feels both luxurious and highly functional.

Bathroom remodels with RnD Builders generally run $25,000 to $85,000. A simpler bathroom sits toward the lower end, while a primary suite with custom cabinetry, a walk-in shower and premium finishes sits toward the upper end and can run higher. Your written estimate confirms the exact price before work starts.
Adding a bathroom where there was none generally runs $60,000 to $120,000 with RnD Builders. The price depends on where the bathroom goes, the plumbing, drainage and structural work involved, and the finishes you choose. Larger or more complex additions can also run higher.
We guarantee your bathroom remodel will be finished in 3 weeks. Design and material selections happen before construction, and your project manager gives you a written schedule with each stage, from demolition to final inspection.
Not the bathroom being remodeled. If you have a second bathroom, most families use it. If it is your only one, your project manager will help plan temporary options and work in stages so you are without it for as little time as possible.
Replacing fixtures or doing cosmetic updates often does not need one. Moving plumbing, changing electrical, adding a window or changing walls usually does, and each city sets its own rules. RnD Builders drafts permit-ready plans and handles the permits and inspections for you.
Yes, in most homes. Converting a tub to a walk-in shower, moving a vanity or reworking the whole floor plan are all common projects. Layout changes depend on the existing plumbing, framing and drain locations, so we review your bathroom first and show the new design in 3D before construction starts.
Often, in older homes. New fixtures, a larger shower, heated floors or better lighting can call for updated wiring, circuits, valves or drains to meet current code. We also coordinate all plumbing and electrical work through your project manager, and recommend only what the project needs.
Skipping a clear plan, ignoring ventilation, cutting corners on waterproofing, choosing trends over durable materials, and hiring unlicensed contractors. Water damage is one of the costliest repairs a homeowner can face, so waterproofing and a proper exhaust fan are never the place to save. California also requires a license for projects of $1,000 or more.
Start with how you use the bathroom, then pick durable materials for the wet areas, such as shower tile, flooring and the vanity top. Your design expert helps you compare options, and each choice goes into your written estimate so you see how it affects the price. Finalizing selections before construction keeps the schedule on track.
Size matters, but so does what is inside. A small hall bathroom with a tub and a standard vanity is usually a simpler project than a primary suite with a custom double vanity, a large curbless shower and a freestanding tub. Fixtures, tile area and plumbing changes drive the price more than square footage alone.
Consistency does most of the work. Use one hardware finish throughout, large-format tile for fewer grout lines, layered lighting at the mirror and ceiling, and a simple color palette. A well-lit space with good materials looks more expensive than one with many competing styles.
Demolition and tile work are the loudest stages, and some dust is unavoidable. We use protective barriers, clean up daily and give you a heads up before the loud days so you can plan around them. Your project manager is a single point of contact if you have any concern.
Your written estimate lists the scope and every selection, and we explain what could change the job, such as rot or outdated plumbing found behind the walls. If something changes, you approve it in writing before it is added. We aim to finish in line with the budget agreed in your contract.
