ADU Construction

This Simi Valley ADU construction project is a 600 sq. ft. detached guest house with one bedroom and one bathroom. RnD Builders Inc built it from the ground up for comfort, function and indoor-outdoor living. Vaulted ceilings, large sliding glass doors and warm natural finishes make the compact footprint feel open and bright. As a result, the ADU lives larger than its size suggests.

Inside, the kitchen has custom oak-style cabinetry, quartz countertops and a peninsula with seating, plus built-in storage. In addition, the living area has built-in media cabinets, and the bedroom has a mirrored closet and a ceiling fan. In the bathroom, blue handcrafted-style tile pairs with matte black fixtures. Wide-plank vinyl flooring and recessed lighting run throughout, so the finishes feel consistent from room to room.

Outside, the backyard now has new pavers, custom decking, a firepit area and updated landscaping, so the ADU flows into the yard. Exposed beams and smooth stucco give the exterior clean lines and a warm, modern color palette. Together, these details make the space work for entertaining and for everyday use.

Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track. Finally, we walk through the finished space with you and review every detail.
