ADU & Addition

This Inglewood ADU addition is a garage conversion that RnD Builders Inc completed in late 2021. It has one bedroom and one bathroom, and a 150 sq. ft. addition brings the total to 585 sq. ft. As a result, an underused garage became a comfortable, self-contained home.

The kitchen has white shaker cabinets with black hardware, dark countertops, floating wood shelves and stainless appliances, including an over-the-range microwave. French doors and a vaulted ceiling brighten the main room, and dark hardwood-look floors run throughout. In addition, the bathroom has a white large-format tile shower with a double niche and a dual showerhead, plus a slatted wood vanity and a soaking tub. White bi-fold closet doors with matte black hardware keep storage simple.

Our design-build process

Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track.
