Project overview

This Thousand Oaks complete remodel covers every part of modern living, with both function and elegance in each detail. RnD Builders Inc replaced the floors, repainted the interior, made over the kitchen and redesigned two bathrooms. As a result, the whole home feels bright, current and cohesive.

The two-tone kitchen has white shaker cabinets, a natural oak island and white quartz countertops. In the living room, an arched fireplace and wide-plank light oak hardwood flooring add warmth, and an arched doorway opens the living and dining areas to each other. The bathrooms each have their own personality. For example, one is a spa-style room with white zellige tile, a brass rain shower and a freestanding soaking tub, while the kids bathroom uses blush pink vertical tile with brushed gold fixtures. Dark walnut and oak vanities complete the details.

Like every RnD Builders project, this complete remodel project followed our four-step design-build process. First, we learn your goals, style, budget and timeline. Next, our in-house design team creates custom plans and 3D renderings. Then one licensed team handles the plans, permits and construction, so the schedule stays on track. Finally, we walk through the finished space with you and review every detail.
